Mark D. Moore of Longstreet Partners moderates the Northern Virginia Technology Council's Emerging Business Network Event

Longstreet Partners, LLC ("Longstreet"), a private investment banking and consulting services firm focused on regional small to mid-sized enterprises, is pleased to support the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (“NVTC”) Emerging Business Networking (“EBN”) program. Partner Mark D. Moore moderated the Emerging Business Network breakfast event focused on understanding and leveraging financial health.

Attendees learned how to understand and make the most of their financial data from the panel of experts. Among other topics of interest, speakers shared valuable insights gained over their careers, such as proven methods of cultivating and leveraging banking relationships, obtaining commercial financing from a variety of sources, preparing yourself and your company for M&A and private equity alternatives, and ensuring that you project your own financial stability to potential clients. At Longstreet, Mark leads the M&A advisory practice and supports the firm’s other focus areas such as capital formation engagements, direct investment of capital, and business consulting services. The majority of Mark’s energies continue to center in the government contracting, professional services and information technology sectors.

Mark has a career of community and industry service and among other positions currently serves on the board of directors for The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of its executive committee. Mark is chairman of the Northern Virginia Government Contractors Council ("GovCon") and has served as a member of its steering committee since its inception in 2002. Mark serves on the board of directors of The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (“SECAF”). He is a past president and a current board and executive committee member of The Business Alliance of George Mason University. Mark is a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, and chaired and co-chaired The Grubstake Breakfast Program - a regional private equity and investment forum - from 1997-2001.
